We are a high energy harmonica driven pop/blues band.

UPDATE:  We had a great gig at the St George Theater.  
It gave me an opportunity to perform alongside friends
in other bands I have come to know through the years.

Now the summer is rolling around again...
We have a few gigs in the NYC area
and hope to see you at one of them!

GREETINGS,

In 2007, we are celebrating a historical milestone.... Our 10th year together as
Jonny B & The Blues Blazers (although if my recollection is correct, we may not
have played our first gig until 1998 at The Dock of The Bay club on Bay Street on
Staten Island).  The line-up at that time was; Jonny B (harp/vocals), Jeff Katz
(guitar/vocals), Karlus Trapp (guitar/vocals) - (who was the last minute replacement
for Noah "Big Daddy" Meisner), Cricket Cohen (bass/vocals), & Chris Almeida
(drums).  It was a great gig and we all recognized
that the music was different... It was magical.
Now, here it is, 10 years later..... It is still magical and we have grown and matured
as a band.  When I think of my band mates, I feel that I have made life long friends
who's company I enjoy.   

We are hoping that the years ahead are fruitful,  and that we continue to grow
musically & meet the challenges of survival in the ruthless industry of music.


We plan to finally make the CD that has been in the works FOREVER!  And pretty
much, take it from there.

We are honored & privileged to have had your support in the past and hope that
you will continue to support the band
& be part of The Jonny B & The Blues Blazers family.
